Leadership Team
Adam Bane, CEO and founder
Adam has over 15 years experience developing and delivering cloud and infrastructure solutions with extensive domain expertise in IaaS, CDN, WAN Optimization, and web analytics. Prior to Maldivica, Adam led product management for the Cloud Services group at Internap Network Services. While there, he was responsible for the launch of Internap’s Infrastructure as a Service storage offering. During his career, Adam has held leadership positions at organizations ranging from early stage start-ups to Fortune 500, including Asankya, Fireclick and Oracle. He’s developed and delivered numerous successful products for enterprises, telecoms, and Government. Adam has an MBA from Georgia State University and received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia.
Robert Minnear, CTO and founder
Robert has 20 years of experience in the IP networking, Cloud, and CDN industries. Prior to joining Maldivica, he led engineering initiatives at Internap and Asankya, a cloud-acceleration services company. Earlier in his career, he oversaw the IP routing team at Ipsilon Networks, an early developer of tag switching capabilities that were the precursor to MPLS routing. He also founded Springbank Networks, a startup company focused on developing CDNs for ISPs, which was later acquired by WAN application delivery leader Blue Coat Systems. Robert began his focus on IP networking while obtaining his master’s degree at Purdue University, continuing this emphasis at MIT where he worked to address quality of service for IP infrastructures with some of the experts that were key to defining the early TCP/IP protocol.
